Cookie’s a traveler, a world unraveler
Can’t keep her on the ground
Cookie’s not at rest—she’s off on another quest
I’m wonderin’ what she’ll find
I’d like to tag along but I’d just make it wrong
And wind up left behind
We’re so high & mighty, lives so neat and tidy
And we think we’ve got it figured out
We become complacent; Cookie’s in a world adjacent
And she’ll be the one to figure it out

Cookie decides to land and hopes we’ll understand
If she decides she’s gotta go
She only stays awhile, takes off with a smile
Heading where? We’ll never know
We’re so firmly grounded and comfortably surrounded
And we think we’ve got it figured out
We’re becoming jaded; Cookie’s elevated
